I actually get asked this a lot. I think that a calorie is a calorie in the grand scheme of things, but if you're going to eat right before bed, make it a very small portion. Otherwise you'll spend your sleep time digesting, which can really disrupt your sleep cycle. I don't think that you have to stop eating at a certain cut-off time, but you should be aware of the types of foods that you are consuming and make them healthful ones!
