PAULA'S PALATE. 31 Aug 2010
When I first heard that I could eat an ENTIRE PINT of ice cream for 150 calories or less, I almost didn't believe it. But, touting less calories than a Larabar (my favorite snack prior to this food discovery), I figured it was worth a try. The product is Arctic Zero, and as if the fact that I can eat the whole pint for less than 150 calories wasn't enough, the taste was amazingly delicious too!
Arctic Zero comes in flavors such as Vanilla, Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Mint Chocolate Chip, Cookies and Cream & Pumpkin Spice (random, but true). With 16 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber, it is a fat-free, gluten free, low glycemic treat that is even suitable for those who are lactose intolerant! Some say that it isn't quite as creamy as real ice cream (leave it to the ice cream connoisseurs to turn a Lithe woman's dream into something negative!), but I think it's just as good as the real thing-possibly better considering the stats!
