WALK-STAR. 1 Mar 2011
Lithe's four-limb-weighted, 4.5 mile, outdoor speed-walking workout to Washington Square bestows a bevy of benefits to your bod. Walk-Star creates a faster and more energy expending workout by keeping glute, hamstring, abdominal and arm muscles active during each step, reduces joint strain, burns fat and tones your entire body from head to toe.

Really, really want to try this!

This is great news! I love hotstepper but as a slow runner, it is extremely hard to keep up with the fast-paced, experience runners and you end up feeling horrible for slowing the group down. This sounds like a great alternative! I can't wait to try it! I hope it will be part of the next Lithe Challenge. :-)

Is there truly a wait list for this class- is it the weight supply that creates the need for the list? Can I paticipate as an unweighted waitlister?!?

Hi J! Yes, there is a wait-list : ( It will drop by Saturday evening. We're also adding a few more class sections...You'll get in! Wait-lists tend to happen with new classes. We don't want to make the class too large, so we've capped it at 20 due to prop supply and student-teacher ratio.
