ME ON MONDAY (THE WRITING ON THE WALL). 12 Jun 2012
I've had a sick kid for the past five days so pardon my tardiness and this very short entry.
I love graffiti art and when I come across the good stuff (not tags), I try and find the underlying, or hidden social messages within. While I'm traveling or walking Mars, I go on missions to find the coolest urban graffiti. I have to admit that most of it is property damage, but some of it is simply amazing. Check out this brilliant piece of work above that is near my house under 95.
My ultimate favorite graffiti artists are Dondi (of course), Daim, Revok and Bates. I would like to hire Revok or Bates to do a room in my house. I keep up with it here. and practice my own here. What do you guys think of the artistic expression? Love or hate?

I love that particular art and how beautiful your body looks in that dress! It's been a challenging 10 months and I see a fithiphealthy body coming through loud and clear! Mary Boggi

Aww, thank you Pam! Pregnancy and two abdominal surgeries in nine months has slowed my progress some, but I'm getting back to me. Feels good : )

Hi Lauren,
I'm a big fan of your blog (you should bring Lithe to DC!), but in the meantime, check out the Brazilian graffiti artisit, Panmela Castro (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/06/04/panmela-castro-saving-lives-through-graffiti.html). She does graffiti murals in the favelas of Rio to teach women about the country's laws against domestic abuse.

I understand your interest in street art: I have traveled the world via Google earth Street View and collected images of street art. Many of the pieces I discovered in Salvador da Bahia resemble the June 12, 2012 picture of your blog. I have posted these images on Face Book as Public--you should be able to view them. Look in Photo/Albums for collections from Lisbon, London, NYC, Oslo, Paris, Brazil (3), and other locations.
If you do visit, please leave a brief 'Hi' so I will know I am not just whistling in the wind.
