NATIONAL HOT BREAKFAST MONTH. 21 Feb 2013
Did you know that the month of February is National Hot Breakfast month? No matter what my schedule looks like, I never start my day without breakfast. Breakfast tells your body to stop the fast and get your motor running; gives you energy and gets your brain functioning. I usually down a green smoothie in the AM, but my top five heated breakfasts are protein pancakes (I'll share my recipe next week!), scrambled eggs, Irish oats, quinoa and millet. What's your favorite hot breakfast?

if i am taking a break from my daily cold, healthy breakfast for something hot then i would have to have my favorite - french toast with extra butter, maple syrup and bananas. not exactly healthy, but a nice warm treat! :)
