LOCAL SWEETS. 4 Mar 2013
I have such a sweet tooth, and last week I went on a real bender. Nonetheless, this is what I enjoyed, bought for Jordan (and still enjoyed), and loved every bite of: 1. Barbuzzo's Salted Caramel budino 2. NYC's City Bakery hot chocolate 3. Philly's Undercover Cupcake {purchased at DiBruno Bros.} 4. Brooklyn's Mast Brothers Chocolate 5. Lithe Foods Chai Latte (heated)

You sure take after your grandmom Dot who adored chocolate. Do you ever eat vanilla? Mom

The "take away budino" from Barbuzzo is dangerous...

Lauren, you are a woman after my own heart. I havent had City Bakery HC in soooo long! Besides the obvious reasons to Lithe, it allows me to indulge my sweet tooth - hence my twitter ID remains 'ofcoutsedessert'!
Marisa - I am so glad I don't live anywhere near Barbuzzo. The budino is ridiculously delicious!

Mom, not if I don't have to!

Lauren- This post inspired me to go eat the pot of bittersweet chocolate and peanut butter at Dandelion last night. Very much worth it. One of the things I LOVE about Lithe and that differentiates it, is that you don't encourage people to adopt an unrealistic lifestyle. Life with out some chocolate is no life at all!

That Budino is the bomb!

Miriam, I agree! I may have to try that pot of chocolate. How was it? I love bittersweet.

I am always tempted to try undercover cupcake (how cute, cause it's in a jar, get it?!) but I can't bring myself to pay $5 for it. Is it worth it? As I type this it seems silly (of COURSE it's worth it!) but I might as well post it anyway. :)
