I love dips. This lovely late summer recipe came from an Italian friend from South Philly via my sister-in-law, Laurie G. Laurie whipped this one up on the boat while we were sailing in August. I typically don't like anchovies, but I fell in love with this recipe. Tomatoes are still in-season so grab em while they're still at their peak. Depending on the crowd, you can use regular bread, gluten free bread, boston lettuce, zucchini, corn chips, or pita to scoop up this delicious dip. Guess what? It's also really phenomenal over pasta.
Ingredients: Tomatoes, black olives (oil cured), garlic, pepper flakes, anchovies, capers, basil and olive oil.
To do: Chop & mix together!
