NEW YEAR SMOOTHIE! 6 Jan 2014
Ready for a fresh start? This cleansing, super-green smoothie has been my morning staple since 12.26:
Ingredients: 1-2 cups water, ice, handful of kale, handful of cilantro, half of a lemon squeezed, 1 date, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, 1 teaspoon spirulina, 1 teaspoon tocos, 1 teaspoon hemp powder
Directions: Blend until smooth. I prefer this one on the watery side, so I use 2 cups water and plenty of ice. If you prefer your smoothies thicker, reduce water/ice. Enjoy!
