SHE'S LITHE: AMANDA WHITE 26 Sep 2016
What brought you to Lithe in the first place? I first tried Lithe after graduating college and moving to the Main Line. I loved it since I was a competitive figure skater with a dance background growing up. I took a break for awhile, but got back into it when I moved to Old City and was bored and unchallenged at the yoga studio. It completely changed my body and my mind! I love workouts where I feel tough and incredible. I am proud to be a 6AM Lither. Lithe has given me the dedication to be able to do that.
What motivates you to stay consistent with Lithing? Whenever I'm bored, Lithe changes it up with a new class, instructor, or sequence. I also am a yoga teacher and it's made a huge difference in my strength and ability to hold poses.
What do you do to de-stress on the weekends? I love exploring the city, trying new restaurants, seeing live music, and dancing with friends.
If you were a Lithe move, what would you be and why? Bow-and-arrow jacks. I just feel fierce, yet flirty when I do them.
What do your friends think you do when you’re at the studio? My friends refer to Lithe as "that weird marionette thing." They think I'm a puppet because of the vertical bands.
What was the first concert you went to? Britney Spears in fourth-grade. Still might be my favorite concert.
