What brought you to Lithe in the first place? I worked for a woman who was doing Lithe, so I learned of it from her. Historically, I've always hated "working out" but with Lithe it only took a couple of classes before I was hooked!

What motivates you to stay consistent with Lithing? I am determined to develop and maintain healthy eating and exercise habits now, while I am relatively young, because I know that it will only get harder with age. That is probably the single biggest motivator for me. I also love the Lithe community. All of the ladies help me stay focused and motivated on the days when it feels really hard. Lastly, my wonderful fiancé is very fitness-oriented, and seeing his tireless regimen reminds me that I've totally got this.

What do you do to de-stress on the weekends? I am a singer and a jewelry maker (when I'm not busy being a grad student), and I spend a lot of time doing both whenever I can. I also spend as much quality time as possible with my fiancé, my friends, and my cat. It doesn't matter what we're doing, it's the good company that matters.

What is the most rewarding aspect of Lithe to you? It might sound cliché, but I love feeling like every class counts. I never leave the studio feeling like I didn't get a good enough workout. I always leave feeling exhausted in the best kind of way... like the class kicked my butt, but I kicked its butt right back. Sculpting work is my favorite, and right now I am loving working to master everything that is Hi-Top!

If you were a Lithe move, which would you be and why? I am totally a "higher power" just because it is my very favorite cardio move!

What movie character do you most closely identify with and why? I'm going with TV character, and it would be Buffy, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She was my childhood hero, and I'd be lying if I said she wasn't kinda my adulthood hero too. Why? Because she is tough and strong, and she can handle anything that life throws her way.

Who is/was your celebrity crush? Right now? Definitely Taylor Goldsmith, from the band Dawes.
