LITHE FOODS 2013 DETOX UPDATES (WE'RE DELIVERING!) 2 Jan 2013

We're back!  Ready to clean up your act?  Our Lithe Detox plans start again on Tuesday, January 8th and are available every Tuesday. Orders must be placed by 7PM the Wednesday before your desired start date. So, for example, to start your Detox Plan on 1/8, please order by Wednesday 1/2.

You've asked and we're delivering (literally!).  We now have 3 options for Detox Plan pick-up/delivery: (1) Monday night in-studio pick-up, (2) Tuesday early am in-studio pick-up, and (3) Monday night at-home delivery (yes, yes, it's true!).

    ◦    The plans will be available for in-studio pick-up by 5PM on Monday evenings.  You can pick-up as early as 6:00AM (at Rittenhouse & Old City) and at 6:30AM on the Main Line on Tuesday mornings.  There is no extra charge for in-studio pick-up.

    ◦    If you select Monday night at-home delivery, you will be charged an extra delivery fee.  This fee varies depending on the delivery address.  There is no distance cut-off within the Philadelphia area, but prices will of course get higher the farther away the delivery location is from center city.  Please see our pricing by location below:
        
    ▪    Center City (old city, Rittenhouse, Fairmont, Northern Liberties): $20
    ▪    Gladwyne/Ardmore: $35
    ▪    Villanova/Wayne: $45
    ▪    Cherry Hill, NJ: $35
    ▪    Other locations: pricing upon request

LITHE FOODS IN 2013! 2 Jan 2013

Craving that Greenie?  Been missing your Lithe Foods like crazy?  We sure have!  We have moved into our new space and we're back in action!  Here's an update: 

• We are only producing liquids (juices and smoothies) now through January 14th.
• We will be back into the swing of full production after the holidays, with your favorite grab-and-go food items back in the fridges beginning January 14.
• Liquid Lithe is always available in-studio.

• You now have the option of meal plan delivery!
  
• Lithe Northern Liberties will be receiving a small assortment of juices and smoothies beginning January 14th!

FALL DETOX FAVES! 24 Oct 2012

Two weeks ago I did our Fall/Winter Detox plan and loved it. As usual it helped re-energize, re-set healthy eating patterns, and I lost 4 lbs which is always a bonus.  What I love most about our detox is that you can have your cake and eat it too, from caffeine (I adore our tea ritual) to chocolate (our brownie and Thinny Mint Shake).  Our plan really makes healthy eating simple, attainable, and maintainable. 

A few of my favorites:  Lithe Brownie Bite, Ginger Limeade, Lithe Greenie, Spiced Butternut Apple Soup, Pumpkin Cranberry Parfait with Ginger Cream, Delicata Detox Bowl, Spicy Lentil Salad, Lithe Ravioli with Spaghetti Squash, Greenest Smoothie, Thinny Mint Shake, Harvest Millet Salad, & Green Goddess Soup.

LITHE 10! 24 Sep 2012

Here's to achieving your best you right before the decadence of the holiday season is upon us with its hoardes of family members, cocktail dresses, and office parties. It's time for the fall edition of our "10"! Just like our incredibly successful summer edition, you can expect killer extended classes and a Lithe Foods component to really give you the results you're looking for (read our philosophy).

Our Lithe "10" is a one-month, ten (75 minute per class) class Lithe program capped at 12 people taught by select staff beginning October 9th. How do you know if  "10" is for you?  Ask yourself the following questions:

• Do you need a kick-start? 
• Have you been in a bad food, no Lithe state of mind? 
• Are you looking for a total lifestyle change? 
• Do you need a little extra help? 
• Do you want to become stronger? 

If you're nodding your head as you read, and feel ready to meet the changing of the seasons with a change of lifestyle and body, we're here to help. During our most recent pre-summer "10," 8 women lost a combined total of 47.5 inches! That's an average of almost 6 inches lost per Lither!  

Our program is complete with one, three-day Fall/Winter Seasonal Detox Plan ($225 value) followed by a fantastic, flab-fighting Lithe meal plan for you to do at home for the remainder of the month. As I always say, only 15% of changing your body happens in the studio, the remaining 85% is what we put into our bodies.

Confused? Here's the breakdown:

Lithe 10 is a series of 10 classes over 4 weeks, with a meal plan/nutrition element.  It consists of:

• 10 classes, all of which are 75 minutes long (instead of 60), taught by selected staff. These classes are specially designed for you.
• A three-day Fall/Winter Seasonal Detox Plan to kick off the program
• A Lithe meal plan/menu for the remainder of the 4 weeks (it's a 1,500-1,700 calorie a day menu designed by Lauren Boggi, founder of Lithe Method. You purchase the ingredients and make meals at home for yourself).

Ten 75 minute classes, 1 Lithe Detox Plan ($225) and 4 weeks of menus = $550.

Below are our set dates (much like the Immersion course). They will all take place at the Old City studio:

Lithers must pre-pay/pre-enroll in the "10" by calling any Lithe Studio.  Unfortunately, you will not be able to use existing class cards/unlimited monthly or "drop in" to Lithe "10" classes at a class card rate.

Craving a detox after a summer of Center City Sips and indulging at the shore? We are so excited to announce that our Fall/Winter seasonal detox plan--filled with the most delicious, fresh offerings of our local Fall/Winter bounty like pumpkin, squash, kale, cranberries, beets, and turnips--will debut on Tuesday, October 2nd. Here's a peek at what you will be enjoying on Day 1 of your detox if you decide to order:

Day 1

Upon Rising

Lithe Sunrise Tea (8oz) green tea, lemon, ginger

Breakfast

Greenest Smoothie (16oz) kale, spinach, pineapple, apple, lemon, ginger, agave nectar, water, ice

Juice

Ginger Limeade (16oz) water, lime, cucumber, apple, agave nectar, ginger

Lunch

Green Goddess Soup vegetable broth, kale, spinach, zucchini, turnip, sweet potato, onion, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, parsley, cumin, black pepper, sea salt

Harvest Millet Pilaf millet, sweet potato, cranberries, pumpkin seeds, scallions, extra virgin olive oil, thyme, black pepper, sea salt

Juice

Lithe Greenie (16oz) kale, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon

Dinner

Lithe Ravioli w/ Spaghetti Squash spaghetti squash, turnip, sundried tomato, tomato, spinach, garlic, cashews, extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, agave, tamari, basil, parsley, sea salt, cayenne pepper

Snack

Thinny Mint Shake (16oz) almond milk, coconut milk, fresh mint, cocoa, coconut manna, agave nectar, sea salt

Before Bed

Lithe Sunset Tea (8oz) chamomile, mint

Orders must be placed for pick up at your specified studio by 5pm the Thursday before your desired Tuesday start date! Your detox may be picked up Monday night or Tuesday morning. Email lithefoods@lithemethod.com or call your studio of choice to get on the list and pre-pay ($225).
