LITHE SPRING CLEAN WEEK 3! 1 Apr 2016

You're halfway there! Week three is another detox week, but it's not as spartan as week one. You'll notice that your menu is filled with smoothies, green veggies, and muscle-building lean protein. If you're hungry during the day, add in more protein and increase your portion sizes. Good luck!

Happy spring! I'm excited to pass along our Week Two #lithespringclean menu. Just like our Lithe Foods/Lithe Escape food philosophy, our menus are based on lean, local, mostly seasonal and detoxifying whole foods. Our eating plan coincides with our lifestyle of hard work and consistency, so Monday through Friday you'll want to follow the rules. Moderation is key for longterm success, so Saturday and Sunday are yours to eat as you please. 

Remember to drink 64 ounces of water every day while you're Lithing 5-6 days a week. We want to see and hear about your results!

LITHE SPRING CLEAN WEEK 1! 18 Mar 2016

Here's our #lithespringclean menu for week 1! Just like our Lithe Foods/Lithe Escape food philosophy, you'll notice that our menus are based on lean, local, mostly seasonal and detoxifying, whole foods. Our menus coincide with our lifestyle of hard work and consistency, so Monday through Friday you'll want to follow the rules. Moderation is the key for long-term success, so Saturday and Sunday are yours to eat as you please!   

This menu is exactly what Lauren eats when she preps for a photo shoot or special event. If it feels spartan to you, that's because it is. For the next five days we are creating a caloric deficit, reducing bloat, and burning off the layer of fat that sits on top of our muscles.

LITHE SPRING CLEAN CHALLENGE 2016 16 Mar 2016

So, you made it (or maybe you almost made it!) through the first month of the #EarnedInWinter challenge and you want to take it to the next level. Get ready to take another 20 classes in 25 days AND focus on what's on your fork to get the results you crave. From Monday, March 21 thru Thursday, April 14, you'll take 20 classes in 25 days and integrate our Eating Lithe component into your practice. Lithe's Spring Clean Challenge is based on our Lithe Foods/Lithe Escape/Eating Lithe philosophy, so it's been tried and tested. We know it works! Our plan is uniquely Lithe and easy to follow five days a week. Plus it can be modified to your dietary needs.
 
Sign up today thru Monday and we'll provide your weekly meal plan every Friday, so that you can shop and prep. Much like spring cleaning, we focus on detoxifying and cleaning house. We'll keep each other in the game by sharing our recipes and results.

Five Winners
We want to see your progress! Lithers who complete the challenge and hashtag calendar and share their #LitheResults on social media using the #LitheSpringClean Challenge hashtag will be in the running to win a 5-class card. We'll pick five Lithers who have the best before-and-after shots. How will we judge? We're looking for the best shots (clear photos, consistent lighting, background, outfit, and most noticeable change!). If you're all covered up, we won't be able to see the changes in your abs, waist, arms, and thighs. To be eligible to win, show off your bod in a bikini or sports bra and shorts.

Our Endless Summer Challenge ends today. That means it's time to post your after #LitheResults #LitheEndlessSummer photos. A lot can change in four weeks, so don't be shy! You may not be able to see your results, but remember that you're always your harshest critic. 

Check out the two examples above from our Lithe Spring Clean Challenge. You'll want to duplicate your before photos, so wear the same clothing that you wore for your before shots and stand in the same place. Have someone take photos of you from the front, side, and back, and then compare at least one view and share. You've worked hard, so show it off! Imagine what will happen if you keep going for eight more weeks. Happy weekend, everyone! We can't wait to watch you get stronger.

LITHE T-30 CHALLENGE! 13 Apr 2015

Are you ready to up the ante?  #TMINUS30 is the third and final challenge in our #EarnedInWinter series.  We'll be taking our fitness up a notch by taking 25 classes in 30 days, integrating our Lithe Foods component into our practice and banding together so that we're feeling healthy, confident and fit when the summer season hits in about 6 weeks. 

  • The Fitness: Lithers must complete 25 classes in 30 days. 
  • The Food: Eat Lithe!  Continue to eat clean Monday-Friday. 
  • Hashtag Calendar:  Inspire each other! Share 3 posts on social media (FB, Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram) w/ hashtags:

Happy spring, everyone!  Our Lithe Spring Clean challenge is my absolute favorite one. It kicks my health, metabolism, weight loss, and practice into high gear. I always say that diet is 85 percent. Eating Lithe (eating clean) is truly a challenge for most of us and incorporating the food part of the equation is what makes this month-long process really effective. 

I always find it interesting that not as many people sign up (there are only 104 of you!) because there is no "prize," yet it's the most critical of the three EIW challenges for achieving the results that everyone works SO hard for. This challenge is for you and you should do it for your health (that's the prize!). Anyone can take 20 classes in 25 days, but nobody can out-Lithe a poor diet.

Sign up on Tuesday thru Saturday, and we'll give you your four-week meal plan on Friday, so that you can shop over the weekend and get started on Monday. Much like spring cleaning, we'll focus on detoxifying and cleaning house. We'll keep each other in the game by sharing our recipes and results along the way.
 
The Details:
    •    Sign up for the #LitheSpringClean Challenge from Tuesday, March 10 thru Saturday, March 14
    •    The challenge runs 25 days: Monday, March 16 thru Friday, April 9
    •    Lithers who complete the challenge and share recipes and results on social media using the #LitheSpringClean hashtag will be entered into the Ultra Lithe Bonus drawing. 

The Ultra Lithe Grandprizes: We want to see your progress! Lithers who complete the calendar and share their #LitheResults on social media using the #LitheSpringClean Challenge hashtag on Monday, March 16 and Thursday, April 9 will be entered to win. TWO people will win a Lithe Instructor-style photo shoot (date TBA). The photo shoot will take place at the end of the Earned in Winter series which wraps up right before Memorial Day!   

Social Media Sharing: Complete our hashtag calendar (below)! Share your progress on social media or in-studio.  Don't want to use your personal Instagram or Twitter account? No worries.
